Poetry Slam

Katlyn started us off.  She was nervous, but did a great job!

 We had our Poetry Slam Thursday & Friday..  The kids were pretty excited.  They have been working really hard on different poems the last five weeks.  We started sharing them yesterday.

Our friend Jamie was in our room Thursday morning and filmed kids reading their poems.

Mr. Fairbank made us a really cool little stage.

I brought in  some "Rock Star" equipment from home.

The kids did a great job listening to the poems.  The mic and the amp made a big difference.
